PPP TV ("we", "us") respects your privacy. This policy explains what we collect, why, and your rights under the Kenya Data Protection Act, 2019 and, where applicable, the EU/UK General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

WHAT WE COLLECT

We collect only what we need: (a) technical data sent automatically by your browser (IP address, device and browser type, pages visited) used for security, performance and aggregate analytics; (b) information you volunteer through our contact channels (name, email/phone, your message); (c) cookie data as described in our Cookie Policy. We do not sell personal data.

HOW WE USE IT

To operate and secure the site, publish and improve our journalism, respond to enquiries, measure audience in aggregate, and — only with your consent — show advertising. Legal bases: legitimate interest (running a news service), consent (ads, translation), and legal obligation where applicable.

SHARING

Limited service providers process data on our behalf: Vercel (hosting), Google (advertising and translation, consent-based), and Meta (when you interact with our social pages). Each processes data under its own safeguards. We share nothing else unless the law requires it.

RETENTION & SECURITY

Technical logs are kept only as long as needed for security and analytics. Correspondence is kept while we handle your matter. We apply appropriate technical and organisational measures, including encryption in transit.

YOUR RIGHTS

You may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, or portability of your personal data, object to processing, and withdraw consent at any time (via the cookie banner or by contacting us). You may also complain to the Office of the Data Protection Commissioner (Kenya) or your local supervisory authority.
