Cindy Sanyu has spoke candidly about what she describes as the biggest risk she has ever taken in her career, disclosing that creating The Boom Party Concert completely changed the direction of her life and professional journey. According to Cindy, launching the concert felt like she was“Breaking a generational curse”because no female artist had successfully done something similar before. I battled with it for the longest time because to me, it was like breaking a generational curse.
The award-winning musician admitted that she received little to no encouragement from those around her. Instead, she relied entirely on her own conviction, even when circumstances suggested otherwise. I had no encouragement from anybody but just the belief in myself from the depth of my soul, even when everything was working against me and with nothing to back up my feeling.
Looking back, Cindy believes taking that leap of faith transformed not only her career but also the way she approaches life, business, and relationships. She states the success of The Boom Party Concert gave her a completely different perspective and strengthened her confidence in trusting her instincts. I feel like if I never went to that direction, I’d be floating instead of ascending like I am doing right now.
