Halo: Campaign Evolved is packed with collectibles, with each mission containing three unique Skulls and a single Terminal, which you can collect to unlock a mission-specific trophy and eventually unlock the Headhunter and Collector’s Addition Trophies. While there are many similarities to the original Halo: CE, Skulls are mostly in very different places. Once you reach the Keyes mission, you'll be able to find the Catch, Blind, and Piñata Skulls, and each one is difficult to find in its own respect.
Specifically, the Catch Skull has some very specific unlock conditions, and is virtually impossible to find if you don't know what you're doing. As mentioned, the Catch Skull on Keyes has some pretty obscure and random unlock conditions that you'd likely never figure out unless you know what to do. For starters, unlike most trophies, you'll need to play on either Heroic or Legendary to get it.
From Rally Point Alpha, you'll need to do a bit of a"Speed run,"Sprinting past enemies as fast as possible to reach the Grav Lift in under roughly 5 minutes. When you get there, you'll need to take out the marked enemies in order to ascend the lift, and once they're eliminated, take the lift up while holding the collect button on your way up. You should be able to reload the checkpoint if you end up missing the Skull to try again, and the Acrophobia Skull will make this one significantly easier as well.
The second Skull is Blind, which can be found after entering the Covenant Drop Ship and finding the room where the Endurance Spec Skull was located in Truth and Reconciliation. You'll need to drop down to the right and hug the wall, following the path until it dead-ends at a red door. The Skull is in the corner there.
You'll need to"Speed run"To the grav lift in under ~5 min. , defeat the marked enemies surrounding the lift, and hold the collect button on your way up to grab the Skull. (Acrophobia?
) After entering the ship, there's a room where you collected the Endurance Spec Skull in Truth and Reconciliation. Drop down to your right and hug the wall, following the secret passage to its end and the Skull is in the corner by a red door. After the cut scene, turn around and melee the mass of flesh that once was Keyes until the Skull pops out.
Finally, the Piñata Skull is true to its name, and can be found after the cutscene where you find out what happened to Keyes. Immediately after the cutscene, start meleeing Keyes deformed corpse until a Skull pops out. The Skulls you find on Keyes offer some pretty interesting alterations to gameplay, with Catch increasing the chances of enemies throwing and dropping grenades.
Blind will cause your HUD and weapon displays to be hidden, while Piñata causes enemies in Halo: Campaign Evolved to drop inert grenades.
